Having grown up in England, studied in Scotland, and worked in France and Italy, I finally decided to put down roots in the Netherlands in 2006. I've been a writer since I graduated: starting my career writing online training programs in London in 2004, working for a corporate communications agency in Amsterdam in 2006, moving client-side in 2010, and setting up as a freelancer in 2014. Throughout all these years and in all these different countries, I've always specialised in food and sustainability.
My clients have included large corporations like Ahold and Cargill, NGOs like IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative, and small, local, food-related start-ups. Since 2006, I've also maintained my Amsterdam food and restaurant blog, amsterdamfoodie.nl, and recently published a lunch cookbook.
